We didn't derail it with incorrect information.

I'm glad you specifically said "incorrect information".

However twisting words to suit your narative can also be considered disingenous.

Anyway I'm now convinced you aren't NCC agents because you didn't apply the typical ANC tactics of spinning, denying or blaming it on the minority racist whites.

Imagine all those jobs and livelihoods being destroyed.

The smart thing to do would be to allow SAB to do what it proposed - which is why they'll probably be forced to do the opposite and destroy the beer and lose a f**kload of money and jobs. :(

Or just remove the petty tyrants and lift the stupid rules saving both jobs and taxes... but hey, TIA, common sense has no place here

Who's got a van? I found the solution.

You'll also need a gun to fight off the police trying to muscle in on the action.

But hey maybe they'll leave us law abiding citizens alone for a while so we can find a black marketeer willing to sell us a packet of low grade horseshit cigarettes for R 100.

This is a fine representation of how the economy is going down the drain. The DTI is on a major power trip. Even the Finance Minister has no say against DTI.
This is actually a simple one... If the exemption isn't allowed then all 2000 of those employees who are let go should be directed to the ncc to deal with their anger over unnecessarily having to lose their job.

Another way this could have gone is that BAT had evidence that would incriminate certain people and once that gets into a court of law there's no going back so certain individuals quickly promised to undo the ban. I guess we shall find out soon by what the response is tomorrow.

One could also argue BAT had evidence that would expose certain people and once that got into the public domain everyone would realise how their personal preferences causes brain farts and obstinate behaviour.

Or they simply threatened to cut off funding to Nkandla and the evil one called the slug.

No one will ever know but I can bet you a good time was had by everyone with KFC and JW Blue in abundance and once the slug left the finest Havanas as well.

I have 5 smokes left

They will last me until tomorrow, maybe.

I will not be buying another pack until the prices are back to normal. So I will be an irritating git until further notice.

Slightly clickbait header. SAB doesn't have 400 million bottles that may need to be destroyed, it has 130 million liters in its tanks which can be bottled into 400 million beers. Basically, the journos took the 130 million liters and did a quick calculation that gave 400 million then they write false headline based on this crazy maths.

Doesn't make it less sad...
130M L @ R8 per 750ml  (for argument sake, there's no bottle cost.)

The most positive spin I can think of re BAT is they will allow cigarette sales from level 3 which will hopefully come into force at the end of next week.
