One South African bank winning the fight against banking app fraud

Bank Zero says it is in the unique position of having no banking app fraud as well as no card fraud at a time when scammers and malicious actors are actively targeting banking app users.

South African banks recently warned of an uptick in banking app fraud impacting their clients. However, Bank Zero is free of fraud by design.

To be fair their approach is superior. Any payment you have to approve in app so you don't have to deal with changing card numbers, virtual cards and rotating CVV bs.

Their won't undo how you get your card delivered. The payment is not even processed automatically, it shouldn't be hard to do.

Never seen the FNB app? More popups than a porn site and millions of sub menus you have to trawl through.

Easy to not have any fraud if you only have two clients and one of them is your mom having an account which you opened for her that she never uses and misplaced the card.

Agree, it is designed for the unbanked, and is dumbed down to the nth degree.

These claims are questionable. There will always be fraud.

If you created a solution that could somehow eliminate and eradicate *all* fraud, why even bother starting a small bank in SA and instead rather sell your solution to the big banks all across the world.
