Bank's scam? Money stolen!

The same as what you pay the cellphone network to send a sms from your personal mobile phone. Thus the reason I don't use the service from Standard Bank - its a ripoff...

oh. So it's standard SMS rate? I don't have a problem with paying for that. I'm not even sure if Nedbank charges me for those. Me goes to look.

I don't think Nedbank charges - but their option is different - you set the ceiling and anything above that is reported... anything below slips under the radar. Not sure what the low end of the ceiling is. I guess they want to make sure they are getting their pound of flesh before they spend on an SMS.

Me too also no like Banks. Too much off ripping of my money. Put money under matress for keeping of safeness. Deposit and withdrawal take place only on top of matress and no charge. Money more safer, customer have more interest.:eek:

AFAIK, all bank charge for it.

We, as consumers, are getting nailed by the banks.
Admin fees are really pathetically high, minister is powerless to stop them.

It is really an oligopoly of sorts.
