Hi oaks. Need a battery recommendation for my wifes car (Hyundai Accent 2013 1.6 GLS fluid), we bought the car about 2 years ago and the battery seems like it needs to be replaced now as its difficult to start in the mornings. The car currently has a 622MF battery though battery centre recommends a 612CE and a call to the dealership resulted in a recommendation of a 628. Can anyone tell me what the difference between these batteries are and what the correct battery is for this car? Thanks in advance for your input.

628 is a very common size of battery, it will generally be the easiest size battery to get in any brand you want. Just stick to 622 that is already in the car.

Get the 628, I got the same in my Clio and it's lasting 5 years so far without any hints of failing.

Buy the same battery you have in the car, the 622, it's much bigger in terms of capacity, Ah rating than all the others, it's a 54Ah, that means you have a better chance of starting the car after you have forgotten the lights on than with the other batteries.

This.

Always over spec you car battery a bit, especially with a relative cheap battery like that,

Also maybe invest in a cheap 5A trickle charger and never ever replace a battery again.

Doesn't the ah go up with the numbers of the battery?

628 is bigger than 622?
