Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

Was a pre-paid customer, been using data rather extensively on my N70 until it packed up a few months ago. Used a 3310 in the meantime so didnt really use any Data.

FINALLY got my N95 on Friday (Whoo hooo Yipeee) but now my data doesnt seem to work at all...did the whole *123# and got the settings sent to me...didnt work. Deleted ALL the accesspoints (they were all there, vodacom, cell C etc etc) and tried again. Turned the phone off, downloaded new settings, turned off again, tried - still doesnt work.

Gave them a call (173) and they sent me the settings again - still no luck. Line was bad so couldnt really hear what she had to say.

Cant seem to find any more info on this - any idea what I am doing wrong?

BTW: My number was prepaid but was converted to contract, dont think that this would affect it though!

How long was it since you dialled *123# and requested settings etc? It sometimes takes a while to get data enabled on your sim. If you're contract then call your service provider and ask them to check that it is enabled for data, 808 for MTNSP otherwise whoever your SP is.

Nope - tried 808...the same story. They are quick to send me the settings, and say it should work...still no luck!

Getting frustrated now...left my phone off for 10minutes to see if it would make a difference, nada :(

Anyone here with MTNSP, what do your settings look like? Maybe I am doing something wrong!

Battling to get MMS to work aswell....arg! something funny with the data connection!

Hi
PM me your number, I will make sure your profile on the network is ok, I am assuming something occurred with the migration to contract that people have overlooked.
