The second photo in the video looks like it is from the people re-plastering / rebuilding the Djenne Mosque. The third one is a Dogon village in Mali. The biggest part of 2010 I spent travelling through Africa and saw these places myself. I saw similar tribes in the congo Basin as well but in DRC and Congo not where he took it, it took us about three weeks to get through the forests. Sad thing is the Chinese are there building roads, cutting down trees left and right. I also have a heartbreaking photo of two little kids who can't be much older than 6 or 7 standing on top of that rubbish dump in Mombasa, just standing there holding hands staring into the world beyond the dump. Nowhere near as good as his photos of course
