Best and worst online shops in South Africa - take 2

We ask and we receive.

So basically the vast majority of shopping is done through Takealot and Kalahari (that merger is baaaaaaad news) and the one or two guys that went shopping at the other stores had an above average experience overall.
 
The lowest score I can find is Wantitall's pricing ("big" surprise) which is 2.94/5 ...which is a surprise. I would've thought their ridiculous pricing would score 1/5 max (0 if it was allowed)
 
I thought with the ongoing mass of complaints, Orange would have struggled to get anything more than a 2.
 
I'm very pleased to see Raru place at number 4 of the Best and Worst Shops. It shows we are on the right track.

We did expect not to place to high on where people shop "yet", as we still need to establish our brand more in the South African marketplace, and this does take time.

No ****... I like to try things on first given the huge variances in fit for a given size in different brands

^^ This. I am quite surprised that they are still around with their super inflated pricing.
 
Ordered a 4tb drive from Firstshop.

Didn't work.
Sent it back.

They replied with a photo of the drive indicating that we "removed screws from the harddrive" and thus voided the warranty. :wtf: :erm: :sick:
Now, why the **** would I or anyone remove screws from a brand new 4tb drive?

Something seriously dodgy going on..
Still waiting to hear from them after they said they'll take it up with their manager.

It's been a month or two now...

Except... all these are online shops and not a single link in the article to any of the shops :mad:
