I'm moving back to Cape Town next week after living in London for a few years. Where is currently the best / cheapest place to get the HD PVR?

Is it worthwhile getting an HD PVR now? I considered it when they were initially released, but they seemed to suffer from numerous bugs/issues. Has the situation improved since then?

Will Multichoice still promise warranty (guarantee) on the "old" model though? Given that the new one is being manufactured by a different company.

It is not an old model. They will both be sold at the same time. MC had to get a second supplier as redundancy, for Naspers to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
