Hey guys

Wanna buy myself a PS3. I'm looking at a bundle as I think it will work out cheaper. Basically in total I need a PS3 Slim, 2 controllers, PS Eye n 2 sets of the motion controllers. I averaged the price at R6000 max, probably will be around R5500. That's including a couple games that might be bundled.

I'm not in a rush for Christmas or anything, but when would be the best time to buy? I was thinking I should buy now when the xmas bundles are out or should I wait for after xmas/new year when they need to clear stock?

Ha... Check the fine print. It "clearly" states it is for the 4GB console. So the 250GB costs R2999...

Drove all the way to the Incredible in Somerset West, get the console, and at the till they point that the 4GB is going for R1999. True as bob, in fine small print JUST above the price it states 4GB, but this is all within the box for the 250GB console. Bastards!

HOWEVER! In the pdf you pointed out it says NOTHING about a 4GB. It only states 4GB on the printed pamphlet. So who must I scream at to get it at that price?

Eish dude. That sucks. I did call them to check on stock and had a salesman feed me the same story. I told him that right now I am looking at the promo pamphlet on their site and it's saying otherwise. I asked him if I brought him the printout and url if I could get it at the cheaper rate. He said I was more than welcome to take it up with his manager. I was soooo tempted, just on principle, but in the end I decided I didn't need another console gathering dust, so I changed my mind.

Just bought

Xbox 360 slim 250, battlefield 3, forza 3,crysis 2 download coupon 1 controller, 3 months live code and a xbox live headset with mic for R2800 at CNA

Its a pretty decent deal and there were a queue to snap this special up. Hmmm. I took the last one. :) Now I need skyrim and MW3 and I'm sorted for now.
