wheatgrass shooters ftw.
If you go to china town in syrildene (sp?) in jhb, one of the markets sells wheatgrass powder.
Its pretty good and very healthy. Mix with OJ and you can't even taste it!

Was I supposed to comment here?

Fresh tomato soup.

Get some fresh maties (750gr = 2 people), boil for =/- 3 mins (or until skins start splitting)

Remove from water, wait to cool, remove skin and remove pith.

Fry some onions in soup bowl with EV olive oil, can thinly sliced garlic (add early so it is toasted) 1/3 - 1/4 teaspoon medium curry powder. 1/2 fresh chilli de seeded (small one like 2 - 3 cm)

Add 2 tablespoons tomato puree

Slice maties, add. Add 1 - 1 1/2 cup vegetable stock. Add 2 bay leaves.

Reduce and then blend until all ingredients smooooth

Spoon into bowl, add fresh cream to middle of soup in bowl (1 -2 table spoons), garnish with fresh basil.

Serve with ciabatta/frech loaf/porta roll that has had fresh garlic rubbed on it (cut clove on half, rub vigorously on bread), drizzled with EV olive oil and grilled until golden.

have some salt and pepper on the table to taste.

Walla, awesome soup, making it again tonight. :)

Anyone got any good recipes or instructions for soda(cooldrink) replacements, it's one of the nasties that's so hard to kick.

Snack trolley , is like a moving coca cola seller.
