Best HTC deal

I am currently on a Talk240 with Vodacomsp and due for an upgrade in 3 weeks time. I am quite partial to one of the HTC devices (TyTn or Touch).

When I phoned Vodashop Midrand today, I was told the TyTN costs R2999 on any Vodacom contract package. Tonight Vodacom advertised the HTC TyTN and S710 for free on the Talk500 on MNet. The vodacom4me website has the TyTN for R1999 on the Talk500? Very confusing (propably intentional as the Cell C TV add states... lol)

i-Talk had it in TV add for R1000 on a pro-120 last night, but nothing mentioned on their website.

Anyone know what this phone is really going for, and on which packages?

Anyone know what the HTC Touch is going for on a Talk240 upgrade?

P.S. I am willing to move to another SP/network to save R1000 or 2.

Err... You can get it for cheaper at cellc on activechat 220 methinks. Sorta depends on what you want to use it for... If u want it for it's HSDPA capabilities, then it would probably be a bit of waste porting to cellc.
