We recently launched an online store at www.erikawessels.com to sell her contemporary jewellery.

We are looking for for a reliable and cost effective courier service for international shipping.

These pieces are typically a few grams, and together with the packaging, about 10x10x3cm

Shipping speed is not the first priority here, but cost.

Really don't want to pay R1000 shipping for a parcel worth R2000.

Any reputable courier companies in SA offering affordable and reliable international shipping?

Thanks!

Reliable and cost effective are not really two words you can use in the same sentence. You are either going to get one or none of the two. That being said, look at Fedex or DHL.

Ups is pretty good. The trick here is to use companys with offices in the destination country's.. and they do not use "Agents"

Maybe look into uAfrica as an option

I use uAfrica to ship parcels every day. Pretty sure they don't support shipments to any destination outside SA. I even asked the CEO when he did an AMA here on MyBB not too long ago and he said they're focusing on SA for now but would like to expand to more of Africa. So they weren't even talking full international support.
