Best player to watch HD movies?

K-lite with VLC in tandem.[Media player classic has been my favorite for years though, as it keeps thing fast, simple, reliable and powerful.]

power dvd 10 intervrates into w7 media center enabling playback of blue ray which previously couldnt. it also enhances quality with its trueHD upsampling option.

VLC MKV support and subtitle support is pretty poor.

Same with MPC. Another reason I switched to GOM Player.
