We have an option of purchasing our own notebooks at work or going with one of theirs ... and although they do use i3s, seems a little sluggish so contemplating my own with SSD - cost dependent

What would the best priced SSD notebook be?

Thanks

Best priced notebook with SSD? Hmm... Any decent I3/I5 laptop (New 4th gen I3 is far from sluggish btw), buy and add the SSD of your choice.

Plus side... You can use the old HDD as an external, if you get a Kingston SSD they sometimes come with an AWESOME enclosure! :)

Brands? Avoid paying for warranty, e.g. HP/Dell... Go for a cheaper brand like Asus as chances are you will void the warranty by adding the SSD.

NB: You may need to clone the old HDD as it would contain various OEM information and your backup partitions etc.
