South Africa's top ISPs at the start of 2023

Analytico's latest South African ISP rankings revealed that Afrihost is South Africa's top-rated Internet service provider (ISP), followed by Axxess and Mweb.

It is the first report that used Analytico's new rating methodology, which considers more data points.

Maybe the Mweb peeps were drunk and somehow got better at doing their jobs because lets face it, they couldn't get any worse, right?
 
The latest rankings differentiate between large and small ISPs and separate service providers, which offer a range of connectivity methods from fibre-only providers.

This decision was made because fibre offers higher customer satisfaction...

Who uses Axxess?

Thought they died in the DSL days.

Aren't they owned by Afrihost? So basically Afrihost takes number 1 and 2 when you take out everyone who scored higher than them.

Another useless waste of time and resources which adds no real value to the end user..imho.

Hello Friends

Does anyone have a direct number or email for a Mweb person, preferably in Billing? Ive been trying since the 27th to reach them via phone calls and lodging queries on the website, no one is getting back to me. Over R400 of airtime wasted haha.

Another ISP who could not be bothered if your business operations came to a halt due to their negligence, lack of service - and or expertise.

Hi

I'm in Noc and on night shift and was attending to this escalation.

The server was powered off by a windows user. When disconnecting from the server please make sure that you do not shut down and just disconnect.

The ticket was logged at 21:50. It was escalated to me at 22:00 and I powered the server on via IPMI at 22:02 and tested RDP to make sure the server is responding.

Apologies for the inconvenience. Please send me a dm if you have any concerns I'm more than happy to assist. I have asked Server Admin to add your server to our monitoring board to detect outages or issues automatically as we have NOC on shift 24/7 365days.
 
Can anyone vouch for Cybersmart? Getting their fibre installed and them as ISP (can't pick :( ).

Used to use them for ADSL back in 2006/7 somewhere there.
