Best reasonably priced HT system for me

I have the following bits of hardware:

- 32" Samsung LCD with 2 HDMI ports
- Sony PS3
- Antec HTPC (going into the LCD using the VGA port)
- HD PVR

I would like to buy a receiver that would allow me to control all of these items through one console while adding 5.1 sound while I'm at it. I was looking at one of those Sony 6.2 systems but from what I've read the receiver only acts as a video switcher on the HDMI ports (not audio as well) and I don't think its got enough optical ports. What would you guys recommend? Looking at a +/- R8,000 budget here.

The Sony does switch audio on the HDMI as well... I've got the DDW-800 setup (I think), the current 5.1 Sony jobbie. There's an additional optical input (2, maybe... I'll check if need be) as well as a digital coax audio input.

So, PS3 & PVR on HDMI, HTPC on optical and Robert's your aunt's husband?
