Best software for TV cards

Hi people.
I'm sorry if this topic was discussed here before.
Can somone tell me what are the best softwares to use with TV card?
I just ordered Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro PCI TV Tuner Card. But reviews all over internet say that software that comes with this card is crappy. I also have
Thermaltake Media Lab (http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis/misc/median lab/a2331.asp)
Which im hoping to use with this card.

the card works with most popular software.

if you want something open source, then mediaportal is the way to go...otherwise, try windows mce2005 or showshifter or sagetv etc...they all support this card as it is popular
