Best TVs for under R8,000 in SA

I got the TCL 55-inch 55P615 UHD Android TV a couple of months ago and remain satisfied with it.

I don't use the Android component much which probably explains my satisfaction. ;)

I lost the panel lottery with a 55P615. Returned it after 2 weeks. Even my 2 year old was noticing the blooming and shaking of the screen. Bite the bullet and got an LG A1. Will never go back to LEDs.

I bought the TCL 32 inch for my study and was so impressed that I got the 50 inch TCL to replace the Hisense that was not the smartest of smart TV's! On both, the IPTV apps all run smoothly. Way better than the Android box that I did use! Three year warranty as well.

I still think a good tv on its own with a Xiaomi android box is better and cheaper. It feels like these smart tvs are sometimes underpowered or problematic when it comes to the smart area?

Hi

Looking for a TV over 50 inch for the parents.
I have a Hi Sense and its going strong.

Any better deals than this?

Can't you download the Apple TV app and pretend you have one ?

I don’t need to pretend.

If I wanted an Apple TV, I’d buy an Apple TV.

If your parents are having a Cell C sim card you should get them an AV1 device.

(According to @backstreetboy, you and your parents will not regret it.)
