Depends what phone (android skin) you have. With MIUI I can do a full backup to my external SD card at intervals. Samsung recently released a cloud backup feature. Not sure of the others.

Acronis True Image now does full backup of Android and iOS devices. You need the latest Home version (2017) and download the apps from their respective stores. Backup to local or cloud.

The corporate version - Acronis Backup 12 - also does devices backup.

Good to know, I'll see if I can get it, as I trust my life to acronis
Does need a cable and created .tib files I take it?

Well I did do my backup with titanium backup, and kept my sad card with everything,
Hopefully whatever phone I end up with it won't be too hard to restore.

What! Does it image the phone? First I've heard of that being possible and iOS or android.

And if you lose it? Or upgrade etc.....

Phones can do more than phone and sms nowadays, grandpa. :D
The app stores keep a history of my apps. Most of pictures are memes so I don't care about them, if I did I'd auto back them up to OneDrive. That's about it really.

Don't care about anything else really.
