Hi all

I'm interested to find out if there is a best way to photograph screens. I'm finding it difficult and getting lots of lines and distortion on the screen (32" LCD in this case).

Any advice/tips?

Thanks.

I haven't tried it, but I would imagine you need a shutter time slower than the screen's refresh rate.

Slightly improved. First pic is on auto prior to my attempts at calibration (notice excess of blue). Second pic is on shutter priotity and you can see that the colours are much better. Screen is 32", hope it gives some a good idea of the sharpness of text on a screen this size. Obviously much better in real life. :)

So I want to do some more photographing. This time on plasma.

Does anyone know how to prevent these funny lines? I have not tried slower shutter time yet, was already quite slow in the pic IIRC.

Anyone?
