Better knowing than never knowing?

Say you fancied someone a while back but you never done schit due to a combination of your own insecurities and you later found out that said person was in fact in to you but was waiting for you to make a move, would you find knowing this better than never knowing?

This recently happened to me and I'm kind of 50-50 on it. I still carry a small flame for said person and knowing the answer to a question I had tucked away for a while was great, but now it is also a case of "Awwww damn, I messed up''.
 
then forget it. no use lingering and longing for the small flame. concentrate on the now. make your current kin feel good. not just on val's day either.

I don't know which would be better, but promise me you'll never let it happen again.
 
Knowing is better.

It will teach you to grow a pair and not let the next one get away.

Truer words have never been spoken.

I'd say I've already done a lot of growing since then as it did bother me more then than now and I never wanted that to happen again.
