Beware when signing up with MWEB - you can NEVER cancel your subscription

Just some info on my experience i cancelled with MWEB almost 3 months ago, followed up daily with the forms etc, even got an email from them confirming my acc has been cancelled and i will be removed from their system. Well I am STILL being debited by their accounts dept months afterwards, even after they confirmed my account is no longer active etc.

The only way out is for me to change my bank account - which means notifying about 20 other debtors and creditors of the change in bank details.

Thanks MWeb - i really dont have anything better to with my time, really!

YEah i will try that problem is, the stop is only valid for 3 months, then i have to do it again, and i will forget, which will mean contacting MWEB AGAIN to get a refund, it will take a month of sundays just holding on their "help" desk for an agent to help me, will get transferred to several different depts and needless to say be cut off 10 times before someone helps me.

Really I am not even a customer of theirs and still I get to experience their bad service.

Don't contact them, phone the bank and say its not authorized, and get them to reverse it.

Cool will do, it`s just so frustrating, i cancelled with them even got them to write me an email stating that my account is cancelled wont get debited etc, and get this nice surprise today. Still unneccassary mission to go through

Lol, things like salary, rent, cars, insurance,....etc.....will have to change if i change bank accounts to avoid unneccassary debits which i am unable to cancel even after several attempts,.

I had no issues cancelling my Mweb products last year...

Next thing you know they will send him letters of demand, hand him over to a collection agency and put a black mark on his credit profile...

This is exactly why I don't do debit orders any more.

QFT... I have a "default" against my name to prove it. Except I didn't get any letters etc. I had moved - hence cancelling... :crying:

Well you guys sent me an invoice that details otherwise - i have sent two emails to complaints@mweb.com and the consultant who assisted me with the cancellation over the last 48 hrs for comment/assitance and both emails have been ignored.

Good Morning LegionECX, please provide me the email address you sent from and I will look into this for you.

Don't forget that we do advance billing.
