# The soonest you’ll be able to get the demo would be on Thursday, October 5th at 9am central. The Battlefield 2142 demo will be available to customers who have pre-ordered the Battlefield 2142: DICE Collector’s Edition and these customers will have 24 hr exclusive access to the demo.
# The floodgates will open on Friday, October 6th at 9am central when Gamespot subscribers (it’s free to subscribe) will get access to the download.
# The next day, Saturday, October 7th, after 9am central, anyone will be able to host the demo so it’ll reach mass penetration (hee hee) pretty quickly.

they fired all the DICE Canada staff after they acquired DICE as a whole. Plus BF2142 should have been a free MOD.

I'm worried we're dealing with another Vietnam. Speaking of which, it was DICE Canada that did Vietnam, the "real" dice team is in Sweden. (Norway, whatever, somewhere cold and snowing . . )

For those that have pre-ordered Battlefield 2142 from the EA Downloader service, the Battlefield 2142 demo is now available for download. This is just to get the demo downloaded however, it won't be unlocked and ready to use until the specified times tomorrow. The demo weighs in at about 1.1GB. So if this applies to you, start downloading!

Update #1: The exclusive 24 hour demo is now available for all those that pre-ordered the game through the EA Downloader service!

Demo Breakdown:

Downloaded the demo.. Game is pritty sweet! 8) Still have the battelfield feel too it, but with a twist of tech around! 8) Love the airplains in there! hahah
