I think that Microsoft are giving great information so that we can be informed on how to stay away and look for piracy.
It's better to avoid the risk of unlicensed software and choose the safer route.

It will always be and always will be a struggle to stop piracy, there is a lot of initiatives before but hopefully they have something here, let's wait and see. I like the opening quote : "As the great Celine Dion once said “baby think twice”.".

One of the easiest ways to tell if you are purchasing authentic Microsoft software is to check the label - authentic Microsoft software will carry a Genuine Microsoft Label (GML)

Great of them to show how much they value the South African market by making some serious initiatives here, seeing tech being implemented in the agricultural sector in attempt to boost efficiency and productivity is very cool

Future Promise is always good. If Microsoft has the ability to aid us in this sector, by all means we should embrace it for our future children. IT should not be something that is dropped for the next new project. Change is good. We need a lot of change these days, this year.

This week we partnered with Microsoft to promote its products and services. You can win your share of R2,000 cash.

Here is what you must do to enter:

• Click on the Microsoft banner shown on the top of this forum
• Tell us what you think of their latest initiative
• One entry per member

The giveaway will end on Sunday 14 June 2020 and standard competition rules apply.
Not to sure what their latest initiative is? The link took me to the Pinnacle website and it is a way to ensure that you purchase genuine Microsoft software. If this is the initiative I definitely support it. Not only does a person of integrity not purchase pirate software or goods it always has a way to bite you.

It's a great initiative, warning clients of risks associated with purchasing unlicensed software and ways to check whether it's pirated or not. They care for the customers and they want the best for them.
