Big petrol price drop coming in October, says AA

It expects fuel prices to drop as follows:

Petrol – 26 to 36 cents per litre decrease
Diesel – 88 cents per litre decrease
Illuminating paraffin- 83 cents per litre decrease

75c is about 5% and can be classed as big.
30c is just 2% so that doesn't count as big.

And if you use diesel, shop around for a good price. I paid R14.36 for LSD in Howick this morning (BP at the PnP not the one in the centre of town). Close to R1 a litre cheaper than elsewhere.
 
Don't you love how the tax still kept getting increased, the 1c increase this month was due to tax, should have been a slight drop.

Paying R13.70or so at my closet Caltex. Maybe check there?
