Meeting the price point or not, the quote from Knott-Craig seemed to imply they will run cables into people's houses/shacks the same way powerlines are run.
True I read the first article after my first comment but if that was the case this could mean they offer aerial FTTH which I doubt this is aerial FTTH,
Wireless broadband must be last mile connection
I believe this product and Vumatel Alexander township broadband is the same solution

I think the plan is to demonstrate that having stable fixed internet connection at home is essential if subscriber feel like they need to upgrade then FNO might roll out prepaid aerial FTTH in the area

Ok. Then. A fibre cable then to each shack.

The demand for data we get in this country, the more international submarine cables will be layed.

Hung from the same electricity cables connected illegally? i.e. Aerial fibre.
If that is the case then Alan Knott-Craig would really be living up to his name.

The instant they started talking about “stablecoin” I thought “scam”.

“Please exchange your money for this virtual token which you can use on this network that we might build, but probably not, swear we wont disappear in the night with all of the cash”
