Billion 7300g and PPPOE relay

Hi

I set my 7300g into router mode and then enabled pppoe relay so that I could use my machine for controlling internet but still have a gateway if needed, but I found that unless my router was connected to the internet I couldnt create a connection in windows. Can someone explain this to me as my prior experiance invloved just enabling bridge mode and router mode on my microcom.

Thats pretty strange...you are sure there isnt an option to set encapsulation to RFC1483 Bridged IP or something?

You just switch pppoe routed on and then check the pppoe relay box.

I'd also love to find out where I can get the lowdown on the iptv profiles (nothing in manual about it), they look rather... interesting

1: 1 PVC(0/100): Port #1/2/3(bridge), #4(Bridge)
2: 1 PVC(0/100): Port #1/2/3(Router), #4(Bridge)
