After someone took time out to answer your question with a good project your reply was "Too much hassle".
So yes, I (and a couple others) criticised you for it as it is a very unthankful and mindless reply.


I was also personally interested in looking into a couple of the suggestions but now they are gone.

I think this is closer to the truth:
His employer probably saw the thread in question and had something not-so-nice to say about it along the lines of "if you do that its moonlighting and against your employment contract"
