Bitcoin price surges over $40,000 for first time in year and a half

Bitcoin topped $40,000 (R746,180) as the largest digital asset extended a 2023 rebound on expectations of interest-rate reductions and greater demand from the exchange-traded funds sector.

The token added as much as 2.9% to reach $40,867 and was just shy of that mark as of 10:33 a.m. Monday in Singapore, taking its 2023 jump to 146%.

Sold everything. Crash incoming.

People still suffering from bear market PTSD.. Max pain is higher

Didn't it originally start at something like $2 or $5 when it started?
Ye, back when it started, a couple of mates setup mining rigs, and I could have bought at R150, arounds there.
True Wild West days back then, LOL

ATH before end of next year, might not stay there but will reach it for sure

No, when is it going to crash to zero?
Hard to say. Could be days, weeks, or months. More to the point it will probably not go much higher than what it's been hovering at as it's majorly oversold and there's massive selling pressure.
