Black Friday 2019 to be South Africa's biggest yet

PwC, in partnership with Opinium Research, has published its research into South African consumer intentions ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

According to this research, consumers are planning on spending 36% more this year compared to 2018. This amounts to an expected average per-consumer spend of R3,812 during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday period.

85% of South Africans said that they were planning on buying something this year, or were considering buying something if they found a good-enough deal.

PFFFT look at this, 85% of South Africans going to be purchasing on Black Friday - and we have this nonsense talk of unemployment and whatnot - heck even toddlers are going to be buying.....it's going to huge, massive, best black Friday ever.

It's all about the build up. Punt massive savings to come, offer at normal prices or nominal specials - and score big. Granted there may be some good deals on specific items, but the normies just assume and buy.

Black Friday it's called because of all the grumpy , miffed off people hoping/praying/believing/winging on about bargain deals that never materialise :)
