This idiocy rears its head every year. Yes, it's a non-event if you're expecting every item on the shelf to be 50% off.

On the other hand, there are always a couple of really, really superb deals that only pop up because of black Friday.

So I guess it's all about expectations.

Because it’s true. Overseas you get Hulu for $1 p/m and tech for way cheaper like smart watches for $15 etc. here you just get stuff marked down R100.
 
I found plenty of good deals last year and every year.
