Hi

How does one report someone for black market ticket sales?

It seems on bidorbuy.co.za people are starting to sell black market tickets to the finals for R10 000 for cat 4 tickets.

I think this is very unfair as people were rejected because there was not enough tickets but people who applied did not really want to go watch the games!

What do you guys think?

Let's just hope the rules are strict and ID is required to verify the holder is the original ticket buyer.

I have sent this to the fifa ticketing team together with all the sellers details.

Lets hope they make an example so that people who actually want to watch the game can buy tickets.

I hate poeple like that! Sadly, Bid or Buy hardly ever take any action against sellers. I have often reported people selling 'flashed' XBox 360s to play 'back up' games, but nothing gets done. Hopefully FIFA come done hurt on these people.

Flashing an xbox is not illegal, you own the xbox you can modify it in anyway you want.Unless they are actually selling games that are copied they are doing nothing wrong.
It's like selling a gun "that could kill people".

This is not a Black Market ticket , The guy cannot attend the game , so he is selling the ticket , simple as that . The ad is transparent with all the rules & regulations so that the buyer can understand. If you want to go here is your chance cause the game is sold out . Pity you have to take both , as i would have loved to buy only one ticket.

ag please, we all know that the fifa possess is nothing more then a money making scheme for Fifa, Visa and FNB, while the average ticket seller suck as computicket suffers to make their targets..

This is black market sales.
Ticketing policy says ticket can only be resold by fifa.com

Certainly is black market. I would take an educated guess that his plan was always to sell the tickets than attend the game. "Not being able to attend due to being in P.E" is a load of bollocks. If it was indeed a legit excuse, his first port of call should have been trying to get his money back from FIFA and not straight to bid or buy and charge almost 10 times the amount they were originally going for.

Not cool dude, not cool.

Well, seeing as FIFA is a very corrupt organisation and this whole ticket process if rife with FIFA officials making a killing, I for one have no problems with this guy trying to cash in as well.

That^ although I sympathize with those who do actually want to see the game but cannot. It'll be better on Bigscreen anyway.

Oh come on. Yes, it sucks to be rejected, but millions of people want to watch games and there are only about 88 000 seats at Soccer City (less at others). I wish that all those involved in this crap, buying and selling, get caught and the tickets revoked and put back in the pool for sale.
