Jeez, did not expect this game to pop off this hard. Anyone here playing?

Monkey man go wild.

Very nice.

I'm still waiting for it to launch on my platform (TGx) but looks pretty decent. Would have loved to play it on my ps5 but it's a bit expensive on playstation.

So with Steam and PS5 alone this should hit 20m sales pretty easily, crazy for a new IP.

Crazy. Just goes to show that people don't give a shyte about woke narratives being pushed by certain media companies.

If a game looks good and plays lekker, they will buy it.

If you on the fence re game this review might help decide:

This mysteriously appeared in my YouTube feed this morning, if you are not sure about the game this might help you decide.
Watched about 15 minutes of game play and it looks pretty good, will wait for the Xbox version to drop.

 ^ thinks there gonna be an Xbox version.....

I am seriously tempted. I've been a fan of Chinese fantasy for ages, and playing as the Monkey King is about as badass as it can get. Plus, the game play looks cool as hell.

Will wait for GPU upgrade next year. Game looks to punish GPU's even the mighty 4090 has a hard time with this game.

"Yes but can it run Crysis Wukong .....?"
Update for modern audience

Yeah definitely. It's not my style of game, but props to them for just doing their own thing.

On the indie side I'm playing Shapez 2 which has sold 150k in a week with 18.5k concurrent players, which is awesome for an indie game.

Ultra graphics are such a scam to me, whenever a new game comes out I watch the Digital Foundry tech review and if you have to pause, zoom in 200% and play it in slowmo to show the difference between ultra and high to me there's no difference but one is 60FPS and the other is 100FPS.
