The BlackBerry Q5 is expected to be sold locally by Cell C and Vodacom.

The form factor is so 1999 great for typing but horrible for everything else.
make a slide out keyboard if you must.

I do understand loyal BB users love this form though

You could use a tablet for everything else if you prefer a phone with a keyboard. The specs of the phone aren't that bad for which I assume should be the entry level BB10 device.

I just had a look at the May-June MTN deal leaflet and the Q10 doesn't look too different from the 8000's and 9000's a la BB7.

They should be careful that they don't look too much like a company stuck in the past, which is what I think their keyboard devices look like.
