For those interested in how the survey was conducted, here's the skinny from Dashboard, the folks that conducted it:
- 1203 cellphone owners interviewed, aged 16+, 803 urban, 400 rural.
- Sample chosen to be nationally representative (geographically), excluding the Northern Cape which has 2% of the country's population.
- Total (rural + urban) findings weighted according to SAARF All Media and Products Survey (AMPS).
- Additional 200 booster interviews were conducted "to provide richer detail" but were excluded from main results as they could bias findings.
