Blackweb tablet looses wifi signal intermittently

My sons Blackweb android tablet ( http://www.dionwired.co.za/blackweb-7-wifi-3g-tablet.html ) looses wifi signal even when he has the router next to him.

Any advise or programme I could install to keep this connection alive? I have no issues with my Note 4 when connected to the same wifi router. (Vodafone R201)

I won one here on MyBB, played around with it for an hour and it worked fine, even from the other side of the house. Yours may be faulty I guess.
