/Sigh,

Maasdorp isn't even trolling, he is serious, looking back at this interview he had with Renaldo Gouws,

White children are born racist...

“Why should we frown on the ancestors’ petitions to punish the land thieves including their offspring,” he added.

Celebrating the deaths of children.

You see that line down there? You've just crossed it. I won't say what I would like to because, well, quite frankly I cannot even conjure up the words for what I would like to happen to you. Your BLF party will fall by the wayside and will disintegrate. You've crossed into territory where the only supporters you will have left are those that are the scum of humanity and deserve to be locked away in a dark hole for all eternity. BLF leadership are the types that South Africa keeps in lifetime isolation in Pollsmoor Prison because they are so despicable that the other prisoners will kill them.

Nope but they are responsible for maintenance.
on the Joanne Joseph show on 702 today there was some discussion around the building safety and the department of public works, seemed to be some issue there, but I did not hear the whole conversation so it might be garbage.

It is just odd that the school could have reported the walkway multiple times yet continued using it.

They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it.

It's not illegal to celebrate the death of people and it should not be. It might not be classy but that's about it, it exposes them for the vile things that they are and that's pretty much it.

Early stages , and none of us here have any facts on hand.

One question comes to mind with these reports that the authorities were unresponsive to alerts that there was safety concerns with the bridge, why didn't the staff at the school barricade it and use alternate routes even if it took longer.

Yes, the school should have suspended its use. In my opinion, the school is also negligent, but nobody would want to take responsibility under the circumstances. Yes, the government is responsible to maintain the property in question, but the school is responsible in regard to its use and access.

The SGB is responsible to administrate the school’s property, buildings and grounds. They are also, in addition to administrating, responsible to maintain and improve the school’s property, buildings and grounds. It is the governing body which should have suspended the use and access to the bridge and reported it accordingly to the Public Works to be addressed and maintained prior to reopening the bridge.

No, it isn't odd, it is that nobody wants to accept the responsibility. It is the school's and government's responsibility. However, the school’s SGB members aren’t civil engineers and don’t have a responsibility and duty to maintain structural integrity and industry standards. This is where the government comes in. In practice, the bridge and its area in risk should have been suspended under a recommendation made by the government should they have acted promptly on the reports.

Personally, I believe that both the school and the government must be held accountable.

Not 'any' people,

When asked for clarification by The Citizen, Maasdorp said he was “not certain” the victims were white, adding he would mourn them if they turned out to be black.

“If our God has finally intervened and our ancestors have petitioned and seen that these white land thieves have now died then I definitely celebrate it. I celebrate the death of our enemies, their children, their cats and their dogs. That is our position.”

Maasdorp is preaching hate here. I guess that some people are okay with it.

No different to the Westboro Baptist Church for example. In this instance they weren't calling for genocide which I have an issue with, they're just vile scum.

Schools and teachers are not generally structural engineers.
It hits a similar chord with the Lisbon building that killed 3 fire fighters as well. Warnings ignored.

“The same day the fire took place, the Department of Health was supposed to provide the unions with feedback as to why they would not relocate staff. We are yet to receive this report.
Had the department taken the notice issued by the Department of Labour that the building was not safe for habitation seriously, this loss of life would not have taken place. They decided to keep the staff there.”

Doesnt matter is if you have a dysfunctional DA/EFF/ANC/DaggaParty goverment. A dysfunctional one is not cool.
