Hi,

I have a bluetooth dongle and a Samsung D500.

Is it possible for me to connect my computer and cellphone together over bluetooth, and then use the GPRS to connect to the internet on my computer?

If it is possible could you give we a quick 101 on how to setup

Yes, you can. If the phone has bluetooth. And you should be using Windows XP SP2 prefferably - the bluetooth support in SP2 is much better than previous. Firstly, set your phone's bluetooth to be discoverable, ie so other devices can find it. Then right click on the small bluetooth icon in the taskbar, select add new device. It will search for devices and (hopefully) find your phonce. After everythings done it should have found a new device (bluetooth modem) which you use in a normal dialup connection (number *99#) to connect to gprs!

I have been using BT through my 6230 to my internal BT on my laptop for yonks now.
My phone connects through GPRS to the net and wham bam, Bob's your uncle.
Browse, play games, etc.

The service has been degrading over the last couple of months though... :(
