BMW E90 320d ECU

Hi,

Do anybody know if the ecu can be remapped without voiding the warranty and motor plan?

There are seemingly a huge performance boost possible by just remapping the ecu...

you do void your mplan ... but many after market tuners have arrangements with certain technicians at specific dealerships that will take care of your car ...

JSN does Schnitzer, i heard through the grape vine that they were doing ECU upgrades to the 335i's and 135i's ... why not a 320d as well ... speak to them and find out ... that way you keep your mplan. But they might charge you an arm and a leg to do this ...

I asked for a quote from BMW to get my 320d from 125kw to 130kw- R10 000.

R10k for a 5KW gain, that does not sound normal.

Speak to Preggie from FRC, tell him your concerns etc. and he will sort you out.
