BMW wants to manufacture electric cars in South Africa

@rvZA

Please stop them

Will never, ever stop them. Bring the business to SA. With our current electricity problems and stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 loadshedding, they will at least be in a position to push out 2 cars per week. That is money right there.

And we shall have access to the vehicles at only 35% more than the rest of the world and everything will be add on's

What another stupid comment. Typical rvZA comment. We're all DOOOMED!

BMW already pushes out 205 cars a day at their Rosslyn plant in Pretoria. :rolleyes:

Uh, no, that is their capacity but in reality they do not even roll out 50 a day. Some days not even 10. But, even with that capacity it is meagre, considering they are rolling out 1000 vehicles a day, along with another 6000 engines in Munich alone. They should rather keep manufacturing there.

Luckily, in the New World Order there is no consequences for CEO's playing with investors' money. So, who cares?

In 2022 they averaged 168,79 X3s a day. You know how that makes your argument look?
