Boeing will pay $100 million to families of 737 Max crash victims

Boeing has announced it will start a $100-million fund to help the families and communities of the victims who died in two 737 Max crashes in October last year.

Boeing said that these funds will support living expenses of the impacted families, community programmes, and economic development in impacted communities.

So how do that outsourcing for cheap coding work for them?

I mean the beancounters must be rejoicing because they don't need to pay $$$ for expensive software developers as they now outsourced software development to India.

But then along come such things and lots of $$$ need to be paid out on penalties etc...

October 29, 2018: Lion Air Flight 610: 189 fatalities.
March 10, 2019: Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302: 157 fatalities.
Total 346 deaths as a direct result of Boeing negligence and greed.

$100m / 346 ~ $289k per killed person - that's nothing - less than the cost of a new 737MAX.

Racist Boeing - If the all victims were American the payout would be 10x or 100x more.
