I'm not so sure about the midfield selections, there are better combinations possible.
DuPreez, M Steyn and Olivier would be awesome.
Best srummy, best kicker and best line breaker we have I reckon.
That said, the selected players have loads of experience, and I aint the coach :D

2 props, 2 locks, and 2 specialist backline players on the bench.
Rossouw can play flank or eitgh man.

In the backs we will see some shifting around when the replacements come on.
2 specialist hookers in the starting 15.

Excellent team ..... Jean better show some good past form though. Only blight on the roster is Januarie but hopefully Fourie won't need to come off until the last moment.

let me guess u live in PTA?
:D
nope.
That combination has been inpressive though.

No matter, as I said before the players he has selected are topclass across the board, whatever team he selects will be a formidable one if they click quickly.

it looks like a solid team, we will have to see how the smith scrumming goes though.

It looks as if our coach missed the second part of the super 14. Definitely not our best team.

Well rather have Morne Steyn on the bench to get his first cap. :)

Don't know where is Olivier, besides that, the team looks solid! :)

Great team, pity they have not had a warm up game or two!

Well we have had some "game time" against the emerging boks, so thats atleast somethign...

+1. Wish we could kick januarie off the bench and include another back.

You live in DBN right? I agree with the poster that Olivier was by far one of the two best centres in the S14. Also Steyn was MILES better than Pienaar this season.

And I hate Olivier. But I get what Snorre is doing. Keeping the winning combos and making it a "steady" team.

Yeah thats the only part that worries me :( If John can scrum well and stand his man we will be fine :D

15. Frans Steyn (27)?

Our best fullback? hmmm...

Not IMO, but the best in the squad.

Brussow is a great addition. The rest of our loosies are overrated imo. Considering Schalk's form lately we won't miss him much and the same could've been said of Juan Smith if he was out. Spies and Kankowski are both nonexistant in tight games.
Brussow's just awesome. A fetcher in every sense in the word. I think he has the best stats in Super 14 for the past 2 years. He's also skillful in the other aspects of the game. Used to be a 7s player - says enough.

Nha spies is good in the aspects he was picked for just like all the rest.

But I agree Brussouw is awesome!
