Looks like they started digging today, lots of spots in the suburb dug up and they are using blue safety netting. Hopefully not too long to wait from here!

So Ram couriers just delivered my fibre router from Vodacom, just a pity that there isn't anywhere to connect it to yet! Hopefully sorted out soon!

Hi guys, Acquivate is a site acquisition company and we’re working with all major Fibre infrastructure networks. For example, Motata is keen to install anywhere in the Boksburg/Witfield area so if your complex/estate is still without Fibre, drop me an email: sam.acquivate@gmail.com.

At the info session last week Tuesday they said the digging/trenching phase takes 2 to 3 weeks, so we are in week 2 of that, and they expect the Suburb to be live mid to end May

Vumatel has been told to stop digging, as they've hit power cables 4 times or such this past week. They now have a meeting with an electrical engineer about that, and will only be able to start again once they've settled their fines they received from that. Leaving the area in a total mess till then. See TTConnect are still allowed to dig, and they're digging right next to Vumatel. They've dug op the driveway in our complex this morning, and that's as far as that got.

Lovely.

Which company?

Currently vumatel, but had issues with both them and tt connect, and they trenched so close together that they argued as to who caused what. And of course I have two driveways (no my place isn't big) so had double the pain.

What is the steps I need to take after a home install from Vumatel and using Vodacom as ISP to get everything working. Vodacom delivered the router by courier already in January. I did phone Vodacom after the home install this morning and gave them the VT number that Vumatel gave me after the install, and the lady said give them 3 days.. that sounds crazy?
