Bolt shutting down food delivery platform in South Africa

Will never forget an insane period at the start when they were offering 50% off the entire Nando's menu for a while. I had a good few months.

It is a convenient service, granted. My sister uses it a lot. But I myself am old fashioned. I go to the physical shop, but then you encounter all these workers running around with their trolleys with their scanners picking stock for their deliveries and they block you and just get in your way. That actually annoys me more than the scooters.
Call me old fashioned but who wants to pay R220 for a single Pizza that is R170 at the shop directly?

Ontop of the Tip, delivery fee. Fee for breathing, house in a complex fee, your Grandma's fee etc...

Came here to comment the same, was great when they had the 50% loads of restaurants (well at least in my area), we used it all the time. Now that those are gone, we never use it anymore so not surprising.

They can go to the wasteland of bad ideas along with the delivery scooters that drive worse than anyone else.

errr, South Africa has three different capital cities, there is no "the capital city"

this fool probably expected Bolt food to be available in the backwater called Bloem
Many people default to the administrative capital as "the" capital.
