Hi All

Just wondering if anyone could recommend good books that gives a person a introduction
and broad overview to (eg) Aristotle's thoughts vs Sorcrates or other major contributers.
I just need a starting point.

Thank you

I don't have any books to recommend you, but I can definitely recommend this philosophy podcast. Philosophize This! It starts off right at the earliest philosophers and takes you through the ages, talking about their ideas and theories and arguments about the world and how that developed onto the next guy, etc. It's really awesome. PS: I've only listened to the first few of them so far. It's on Spotify, so you can listen to it for free but there will be ads if you don't pay.

The only books I can recommend are Hitchens and Dawkins, etc but that's not in the vein of what you're looking for I think.
