I went to my Chinese websites, looking at the 10 000mAh Oukitel K10000 phone. Nice size battery.....but I couldn't find any other model than 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM !!!!!

I don't care how big the battery is, but I won't get duped into buying a smart phone with 16 GB of ROM again. After the operating system, there is barely enough room for your apps......let alone your music collection, pictures, videos etc.

I was duped by Samsung into buying two of their top of the range tablets, that were limited to 16 GB. They convinced me that the external SD card will fill my needs. No way - external SD cards are nice to have, but not a replacement for internal memory. Lots of apps refuse to be moved to the SD card, data gets deleted, sometimes SD card access is restricted on some versions of Android. And...SD card use is much slower than internal.

So...I would love a large capacity battery - I don't care if the phone is thicker or heavier than others......but I refuse to accept 16 GB ROM and 2 GB RAM. Minimum I would look at is 64 GB or better yet 128 GB. I bought a Leeco LeTV LE MAX a few weeks ago that has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM for about $ 220. Now that is decent storage capacity...
Just add a SD card...

Hogwash since Android 6 you can format a sd card to internal memory. Never had data deleted and if you want speed buy a faster SD card.

This. I have a 16 GB phone with a 64 GB SD Card, formatted to work as internal memory. I've never had space issues.

Cool, stick to your 16 GB phones, I will insist on 64 minimum or preferably 128 or 256 GB.

I have some magazine apps on Android 6.01 that I can move to SD card.....but every time I download a magazine, the content goes straight to the internal memory, although the app is on the SD card. This is like 200 MB of data going to the puny 16 GB internal memory, for every magazine I download.

Not for me thanks, I have had way too many issues. But you go ahead and buy the 16 GB phones.....

Sheesh are you okes storing all your pr0n on your phones?

Streaming is the way forward :D

I have a 16GB model with a 32GB SD card. The SD card is barely used as I like clearing out my phone every so often. The 16GB also seems sufficient for the few apps that I use. I don't game on my phone, so all that I need is Tapatalk, WhatsApp, mails and a few other apps

No pr0n on my phones :p However, my phones and tablets are my media/entertainment storage devices. Try putting 4000 songs, a few thousand photos, a few video's, and tons of apps on 16GB - 5 GB (Android) = 11 GB. No can do

Samsung have disabled (in Marshmallow) the feature that allows the owner to "format SD card as internal memory" option when you format the SD card. I guess you could do it if you root the phone, but I won't go down that route.

And I am no fan of the cloud - having to rely on data to access your media. I prefer having my data on board.
