So.. I've been trying to get in contact them in any way possible... they have just called me to inform me they have received a lot of interest.. and will start with building this end of month.. I have now ask the person to sent me a mail so I have some proof.

So let's hope this is true.

That would be amazing. Even if they can just put into IFP by end of the month it would be great. That means trenching and all that can hopefully start in 3 months and access rolled out by end of the year (utter best case) or by March next year.

Basing my timelines off of the other installs in neighbourhoods I've seen.

No problem, person called me again just before 3PM and told me she will answer my questions by tomorrow morning, as she is waiting response from the manager, so really hope for the best.

Updated News: I need to get 30 people around me to signup and they will start the the Fibre, but she will meet me in person next week to work through all the finer details.. As i want to know the radius I can work with to get people interested and then how quick this can be done etc..

Vumatel Update: They have now added a progress bar (Click on attachement below) and we currently need 995 People to Register and show interest for them to start.. so please guys.. this is a cry for help.. everyone in Brackenfell please visit the below Vumatel website and type in your address and then register your details.. it would take less than 5 minutes from your time, this will help us to get Fibre in Brackenfell.

No problem, I am in constant touch with the Business Developer Manager from Vumatel.. for now the best we can do is to keep registering for interest.. the more we get and how quick.. the best.

By tomorrow those who did register interest before should also be on that Progress Bar.

So let's keep pushing!

Also by next week pamphlets should be available to be handed out to houses, so let's hope we can push this hard If everyone just jumps in and help.. the quicker it will go!

haha, if it's the Brackenfell News and Info group.. they are trying to accept less post from Vumatel.. as we have been flooding it.
