Vuma will start dropping some pamphlets in post boxes in our area soon. Hopefully this will increase the interest substantially and get us closer to that target faster.

Hey Guys,

Please don't flood that Brackenfell News and info group that hard. I had a nice whole explanation of the project typed out and approved and then with all the spam it was removed. I am planning on doing a nice write up again for the allowed period of 1 - 5th of the month.

Vuma is very keen to bring Fibre to our area and we are in constant contact with them and update everyone as much as possible on the https://www.facebook.com/groups/948017998664119 group. Please join here if you want to stay up to date with progress etc.

Please note that this is not all of the interest currently in the area. By estimate there should be another 100 at least that should come off there. Vuma only added the progress bar recently and all interest before then is not updated on the progress bar and still has to be done.

Vuma said that they would be starting Pamphlet drops this week so I am hoping for the best with regards to Interest being shown. Please help out and spread the word.

Again the best thing to do would be to join that Facebook group so we can keep up to date. The Vuma rep is also on there and views the comments and gives us feedback that we can then again share.

Vuma is coming. Our interest will determine when.

So about 900 more to go. Progress is being made but with the amount of people living in the area and wanting fibre this should really not take that long.

I urge everyone to tell your friends and family to take 30 seconds and register interest. That's all it takes. 30 seconds and you're done with it and you've helped the project proceed.

100% Agree with you, still trying to push for those flyers, trying to get a update on that, and hope that will help as well, other solution would be to go stand at Checkers or Spar with your Ipad and ask people to register interest

Saw the RSAWeb fella's and OCTOTEL also doing some canvassing in the area. More the merrier I say. Though I would prefer VUMA. Prices are excellent and their service is nothing short of amazing.

I am sure more "in the know" folks will be chiming in, but heard from friends that are on the neighbourhood watch that VUMA has confirmed that they ARE coming. They will be sending out scouts to look at areas and take pictures of houses - to assist in install planning - and should start trenching early 2018.

These fellas will be wearing pink bibs and have ID badges.
