Isn't Birgundy already covered by Telkom?

It’s one of the newest built developments so wouldn’t make sense for them to put copper in.

The rest of us have VDSL copper at least and probably not such a priority to replace.

very nice indeed...I just wanna know...once we reach 100%...how long till Vumatel actually starts?

^^Not sure, but I believe Monte Vista reached their target in the last few days. They are now at 102%. Wil be following their progress from here with interest.

very nice indeed...I just wanna know...once we reach 100%...how long till Vumatel actually starts?

They have to secure the rights to trench etc from CoCT - which they are already busy with - and then set out the plan they will follow.

They have been scouting the neighbourhoods the last month or so taking pictures.

If we are lucky they can start before end of the year, but I expect only by next year June they will be finished with the area.

From other installs I've seen in the areas in Durbanville it takes about a month from starting to trench to completing that step.
