Hey Guys,

I need some help, I'm wracking my brain to find a solution to A. power on and off a DOL starter, and B. Also get the status (on/off) when triggered locally (physically).

Wiring a simply contact to power on is dead simple, but a DOL started has a seperate ON and OFF, wiring in a NO and NC configuration respectively.

Am I overthinking it? Is it as simple as using a ESP32/Shelly/Sonoff over the A1/A2 to trigger on and off? Or should I use a 2-sw/input device one for discreet on and off? - If so can I use tasmota to recognise a seperate on and off signal in a single device?

I'd ideally like to use Shelly for this project.

Any help would be apreciated.

you only need a pulse to start and a pulse to stop .pulse a n/o to start and same with a n/c to stop .just make sure your phase to coil is the same phase throughout the control circuit as you seem to be switching a 380v coil on the first phase and controls on the 3rd phase.by using the blue thingy i dought the coil will pull in ,it may be a n/o or n/c only you would need to test that ,the switching will probably to quick for the coil to register the stop circuit on start .

you could do it with 2 extra 8 pin relays ,but if one fails youre up sh4t street without a fail safe if youre not home.just remember any mods to the stop circuit must be before the E stop .
